I actually miss you guys. Even though I don't really feel connected to you as a class yet, I am hoping that will develop over the next nine weeks. I am surprised I haven't gotten any comments from Raleigh on here. I thought he would be on my case about missing so much school.

Go here and check out "The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail." We are going to read the piece this is based upon (Civil Disobedience) and I would LOVE it if some/all of you attended the performance. It's not a field trip persay because the play is at night and it costs about the same as a movie ticket. I think the showtime is at eight and it's supposed to last about an hour and a half. Last year my AP kids went to see The Scarlet Letter put on by this same troupe and we had a good time. Let me know what you think!
