yeah i have the same question...cuz i know they passed cairo but i'm not sure how they realized it. But i do know that Huck washed up on shore and was discovered by the grangerford's dogs and thats when they let Huck stay with them. hopefully that makes some sense...
but the thesis statement for our paper basically is the overall main point. what exactly do u think are the reasons for edwards use of figurative language in order to persuade his congregation? so whatever your answer is to that question would be your thesis
About Cairo. They knew they had passed it because Cairo was a FREE STATE. After they passed it they wound up in a SLAVE STATE again. That's a big deal considering Huck is accompanied by a runaway slave.
