So I just did the homework and honestly I thought the bottom part was difficult. I am doing this from memory, but I think there are only 2 compound complex sentences. I also want you to know that one sentence uses an elliptical clause, which means it the clause has a subject and a verb, but one of those is implied. Another sentence has a subordinate clause that uses an implied "that". For instance: The shoes I wanted were on sale. There is an implied "that" before the word I. Really it's saying the shoes that I wanted were on sale and therefore this is not a simple sentence, but a complex one instead. This stuff is tricky.

omg all i got were simple and compound sentances! ahhhh i dont know what im doing i marked them and everything! im soooo confused mrs jonessssss!!!!!!!
