apostrophe- The direct address of an absent or imaginary person or of a personified abstraction, especially as a digression in the course of a speech or composition

is that a better definition mrs jones?

yeah the only other definition besides the punctuation usage def was:

apostrophe is the act of addressing some abstraction or personification that is not physically present (which is chelsea's in simpler terms i think)
