so it would be really nice if someone that knew what our passage was about could give me a brief summary. i feel like that would help me with know what to look for with tones and syntax.
Why is it that every time I check on here no one has posted, yet everytime someone posts I never see it? I feel out of sync. Just so you know, I am very proud of how well some of you are grasping rhetorical analyses. It's hard, but you are all doing pretty well with it. Other than a few lapses in academic motivation (aka whenever I am walking around trying to help EVERYONE one at a time, some of you are spending that time chatting and goofing off instead of working which would vastly increase the speed with which you "get" this stuff)but most of you are waiting very patiently for me to read every person's every sentence at least once and offer feedback. That is the benefit of such a small class. Last year with 22, that was an impossibility. There was a lot more student helping student action going on, which there seems to be very little of this year. I feel both have their advantages and hopefully we will get to a good balance before long.
